The Cinch Lady Answers Frequently Asked Questions

NEW FINDINGS!
Cinch your postpartum tummy during the day and your hips at night.

How does it work?
The Cinch Tummy Wrap is the world’s only fully adjustable wrap that can be used to Cinch your core and hip. You wear The Cinch Signature/Couture during the day to support-enhance-tone your mid-section. At night, simply re-adjust The Cinch by lowering it to your hip and lower abdomen area to compress and cinch your hips. For even better results, you can use The Cinch Cold/Warm Compression Insert into your Cinch Signature pouch to sooth your uterus as needed.

What is the Science behind it?
Many research studies have shown that hormones such as Relaxin and Progesterone are produced during pregnancy to loosen and relax connective tissue and joints. By looking at a woman’s pelvic anatomy, the hip bones are attached to many ligaments that have been loosened and stretched by these hormones during pregnancy and delivery. These hormones still linger in your system after delivery, and bones are still loosened and stretched out. This is the window of opportunity for a new mom to get back to her pre-pregnancy profile. During these crucial first postpartum weeks, approximately 1-8 weeks, the pelvic bones and ligaments are very malleable. Working with your natural hormones and recovery process, you can potentially re-contour the hip and lower abdomen area by applying gentle and continuous compression.

Why is wearing The Cinch ideal during your first stage of recovery?
The Cinch Tummy Wrap with patent pending function and design targets your core and hip area in many ways. The high-tech elastic material will not lose it's stretch while providing constant and even pressure in your targeted areas. It has an elasticity memory that will recoil to its original shape. This allows the material to maintain its integrity to achieve maximum tensile strength every time. The fabric performance with anion technology provides for moisture control during extended duration of use. The interlocking patterns of the material and design reduce minimum rolls and sustain desired placement. The Cinch Tummy Wrap incorporate anion technology to increase breathability while decreasing irritation to the skin. The height of The Cinch provides for a wider coverage of the core and hip areas. The forward thinking design creates a 360-degree support in the front, back and side aspects. The compression is multiplied by simply adjusting the front panel in conjunction with the added double wings to provide continuous tension control. The adjustability of the continuous tension control allows for maximum results.

The added value in The Cinch Tummy Wrap’s ability to fully adjust to your comfort and changing core/hip line provide new moms the flexibility to target areas in their recovery phase with just a single wrap.

Always consult your physician before using The Cinch Postpartum Tummy Wrap. Do not wear if you are experiencing any pain. Results vary. Do not use during pregnancy. This site is not intended to give any medical advice.

Ok ladies, it took you 9 months to nurture the growth of your baby while the weight goes on, you should take at least 9 months to nurture your body back to a healthier you. I created my Nine Months Plan to Regain Your Healthy Shape with the The Cinch Tummy Wrap so you can watch your weight come off naturally and return to a toned physique by its Support, Enhancement, and Toning effects.

For the first 6-8 weeks, with your doctors’ approval of course, “ The Cinch’ is recommended as a gently applied pressure wrap for “Support” to holding in your stretched out stomach muscles and skin and to remind you that you are not eating for two any longer. For the next 3-6 months, “The Cinch” is an “enhancement” tightening the tension control on the adjustable wrap while accompanying light exercise. Gradually adjusting the wrap down a size as you lose your post-baby waistline. From 6-9 months, “The Cinch” can be tightened and stabilized to begin the “toning and firming” process of your recovery along with a regular and cardiovascular exercise regime. All the while considering what you eat, healthy, organic, and nutritious choices..

If you don’t already know it, binding your tummy is a natural and healthy way to let your body recover quicker and easier so you can get back into the groove of your daily life. You will feel healthier, beautiful and energetic!

I have been on shows such as The Tyra Bank’s Show giving my expert opinions on how to slim after having babies. People start calling me the “Cinch Lady” and wanted me to share more of my secrets on how to look and feel your best after babies.

Top Questions Moms Usually Ask:

1) My doctor recommended the Cinch to me after my baby. Do other Obs recommend the Cinch also?

YES! Doctors (Ob/Gyns & DOs) are hearing and seeing a lot of benefits when patients use The Cinch. They are happy to refer The Cinch to their patients. 2) I heard that Cinch contours to a woman's body and does not roll up. How come sometimes when I use it, it rolls up a little bit and most times it doesn't?

You are right! When Cinch is properly placed on, it should have a fitted contour to your body. The only time it rolls up is when it is over tighten with the elastic wings on the sides without adjusting the front panels first. For best results, always size The Cinch first by placing it on a flat surface and adjust the front two panels closest to your current waist size. Make sure you velcro the front panels up against the top seam. Stand up, breath in a little and zip on your right. Make sure the elastic wings are not velcroed in yet. Now center the front portion of The Cinch. You can pull The Cinch up or down the way you want it. Then use both hands stretch the elastic wings out and Velcro to the back. Make sure you don't over-stretch it. If you need more support and compression, always start with adjusting the front panels first before you zip up!

Easy. Hand wash with mild soap and hang dry. Cinch has scotch guard protection and usually it is low-maintanence as long as you take care of it like your second baby.

12) I don’t want to have people asking me when I am I due after I just had my baby 3 months ago. How can the Cinch help?

Cinch is to help compress the tummy after giving birth and shrink the uterus. Many of your tummy muscles such as the Transverse, oblique and Rectus Abdminus muslces are stretched out of portion. Without the help of a wrap, they will take a longer period of time to recover. Especially if you don’t have a good diet and eat too much, they may never get back to normal and hence the muffin tops and tummy rolls. Do it right the first time and you will have your friends asking you for your secret to looking and feeling great right after your baby. You can have the cake and eat it too, ladies.

13) I was a small before now after baby I am smack in the middle of the two sizes? Which size should I get?

If you were small or under size 10, chances are you will definitely fit in a size S-M.

14) Will I look good wearing the Cinch Tummy Wrap in my sexy t-shirt?

Be real ladies, you are wearing a binder. It can’t just disappear under your clothes. The Cinch Lady had researched and developed her Cinch Tummy Wrap for over 3 years to find the thinnest and most durable fabric that she can find. If you see just a little line under your tight t-shirt, don’t sweat it. This just mean the Cinch is working for you to allow you to wear a tight T-shirt in the first place.

If you find that the wrap is bulging and crinkle underneath your clothes, then you are not wearing the Cinch the correct way. Start from step 1 and make sure you size the Cinch and Velcro the front elastic strap all the way against the upper seam so the front panel is covers down smoothly.

15) I am a multi-task mom and I need to move around a lot. Can I still function wearing my Cinch all day?

Of course, Cinch is made with high end materials and strategically designed so you can bend, flex and maneuver easily with your baby or toddler. The most important part is you can breath in it.

If you wear your Cinch the right way, most moms claim they almost forget that they are wearing it.

16) Some people say you should pay attention to your baby and not worry about wrapping your tummy right after you give birth. It is so vain. What do you have to say about that?
